EastEnders airs Pat Evans’s emotional funeral episode next week and official pictures showing the sad day for Walford have now been released.
Led by Reverend Stevens, the church service gives thanks for Pat’s life as her friends and family gather to celebrate the Albert Square legend.

Viewers will see Pat’s stepson Ricky (Sid Owen) try to say a few words in memory of her, but when he is too upset to continue, it’s Janine (Charlie Brooks) who steps in to deliver a moving tribute.
Later, Pat’s coffin is carried out to ‘Sweet Caroline’ – one of her favourite songs – before the mourners throw earth on top of the coffin at the graveside.

Meanwhile, in the build-up to Pat’s send-off, the spark between David Wicks (Michael French) and Carol Jackson (Lindsey Coulson) is reignited as they declare their love for each other.
However, with vengeful Derek Branning (Jamie Foreman) vowing to come after David as soon as Pat is buried, will he follow through with his threats once the funeral is over?
